A 74-minute hallucination, warm as a crackling fire, and casting many peculiar shadows.
The Webbed Hand Records "Rain" series is graced by a second contribution from Saluki Regicide.
Rain is a series of conceptual CDs produced under the auspices of Webbed Hand Records. Each "Rain" is a CD-length ambient recording ideal for listening to while relaxing, working, or socializing. This should be played at a low volume, for best effect, preferably as background ambience as you are going to sleep.
Thank you for listening to this Webbed Hand Records release. Please visit

The acquired flavor of Saluki Regicide...
It's impossible to NOT call this a difficult listen. Not only is it incredibly abstract and a little haunting at times- but it has a first impression of being devoid of construction- which is far from the truth!
Some folks like drones, others like dark ambient, or experimental-- this is a mixture of all three. A GREAT mixture- more like a film than a piece of music, but not a soundtrack...
Confused? Me too-- this album tends to disorient the senses a bit... before long you are opened up to the possibility that anything can happen and that something may be creeping up behind you.
Mr McDill is doing some serious sound-sculpture here- but you won't "get it" if you are looking for a quick auditory fix- this one takes some time.
I simply adore the efforts of Webbed Hand- it is a label like nothing you will find anywhere else. Huge props to this crew! Keep up the good work, and take good care of that Random Dream-Generating Machine because it works wonders.
Thank you, kind Sir Saluki!

Einfach klasse!
Einfach klasse!
